• The Save Whitchurch's Last Bank Campaign was set up initially bya small group of concerned local residents and was endorsed by the Town Council to become a community-wide non-political campaign.
  
  The group has grown in size and is now chaired by the Town Mayor, Vince Bradbury. It encompassed individuals, businesses and organisations in campaigning to stop HSBC closing the town's last bank. It is now seeking the improvement of banking in the Town.
  
  Many people are now assisting in the campaign providing essential help in its day-to-day running.
